myt learning hub exists to close the gap between the skills the island has and the skills the industry is hiring for.
Why it exists
Cloud and artificial intelligence work is being created faster in Mauritius than people are being trained for it. The skills employers ask for are well defined, but learning them alone is slow.
myt learning hub removes the obstacles. The training is funded and Amazon Web Services supplies the material. What is left is the part that matters: the learning resources, the labs and questions to ask.
The learning hub also delivers the national cybersecurity and artificial intelligence awareness programme in schools, which is where a good number of learners first meet the subject.
