Code of conduct

Mandatory rules and regulations to be followed at all times.

01

Who this applies to

Any one taking part in a myt learning hub course or event: learners, instructors, staff, partners and guests.

It applies in classrooms, at venues, in online sessions, shared lab environments and in any channel used to run a cohort.

02

What is expected

Treat everybody with respect, irrespective of their background, experience or role.

Give people room to ask questions. Somebody at the start of a beginner course has as much right to the instructor's time as anybody else.

Arrive on time for the sessions you enrol on. Seats are limited and a repeated no-show shall place you on a waitlist or blacklist.

Do the work yourself. Using another person's account or submitting work you do not own shall end the enrolment.

03

What is not acceptable

Harassment of any kind, including, but not limited to, unwanted contact, intimidation and persistent disruption.

Discriminatory language or conduct.

Sharing another participant's personal information without their permission.

Using the lab environments for anything outside the coursework, including scanning, mining or hosting unrelated services.

Reproducing or redistributing course material without permission.

04

Lab environments and data

Lab accounts are provisioned for coursework and are monitored for cost and abuse.

Do not put personal data, customer data or production credentials into a lab account.

Anything created in a lab is deleted at the end of the cohort. Export what you want to keep before the final session.

05

Report anything that breaches our code of conduct to learninghub@telecom.mu, or to an instructor or member of staff at a venue.

Reports are handled confidentially. You shall be notified of the outcome within due time.

No one shall be disadvantaged for reporting an issue in good faith.

06

Consequences

Responses are proportionate and may result from a warning up to deactivation of the account.
